徳島県下で唯一、杜氏制度を守っている貴重な酒蔵。毎年寒くなるころに杜氏の上田譲さんが兵庫県但馬地方から蔵入りし、酒造りを行います。その穏やかな人柄は、不思議なものでお酒の味にも反映されているようだと六代目の中村盛彦さんは語ります。純米吟醸「穣」無濾過原酒は、杜氏の名前から命名。一切濾過を行っていないため、搾ったままの化粧なしの色、味、香りをお楽しみいただけます。品質を第一に考えた酒造りを行い、一本一本丹精込めて造り上げた結果、全国新酒鑑評会で複数回金賞に輝きました。大々的な宣伝はしていませんが、その味が評判を呼び、日本酒愛好家には知られた存在です。阿波池田は良質な水に恵まれ、冬場の冷え込みが厳しい醸造に適した土地です。そのため昔から酒造りが盛んで、毎年二月に行われる四国酒まつりでは、今小町を含め市内三軒の酒蔵が開放され、多くの人で賑わいます。
The precious only brewery in Tokushima Prefecture that has been maintaining the "master brewer" system. Every year at the onset of winters, the master brewer Mr. Yutaka Ueda goes into the brewery from Tajima Region in Hyogo Prefecture for sake brewing. According to the sixth generation Morihiko Nakamura, his gentle personality mysteriously reflects into the sake he brews. Junmai Ginjo "Yutaka" Muroka Genshu has been named after the master brewer. Since it is completely unfiltered, one can relish the original color, taste, and aromas.As a result of painstaking crafting of high-grade sake one by one while giving utmost priority to quality, they have won the Gold Prize multiple times at the Annual Japan Sake Awards. They do not advertise extensively but the taste of their sake is well known and deeply loved among sake lovers.Awa Ikeda is blessed with good quality water and its land with severe winter is suitable for brewing. For this reason, sake brewing has been popular since the old days and three breweries including Imakomachi are opened in the city during the Shikoku Sake Festival held every February, which are bustling with people.
